Attendance
Every day counts in a child's education. Each day a student misses school, he gets more than two days behind his peers because he must make up missed learning and catch up with new learning at the same time. Compulsory attendance is required by California Education Code 46010 and mandates that all students ages six through 18 attend school regularly. Our goal for the 2024-25 school year is to reach the district goal of having a 96% attendance rate. At the end of the 2023-24 school year, Wilson’s attendance rate was 93.8%. We are currently at 94.92% The students and parents are welcoming the challenge. All students are aware that they cannot miss more than 3 days of school this year in order to make this goal. Please send your child to school every day! If your child is not in school, he/she cannot learn. Let’s work together to ensure that all of our Jaguars are at school EVERY SINGLE DAY. Wilson’s motto: TOGETHER WE’RE BETTER.
Wilson has the best attendance clerk in the district! Our attendance office clerk is here to help and assist you as you report your absences and plan doctor appointments. Please direct all inquiries to:
