Truancy Steps

• 3-5 unexcused absences or tardies (within a month) will result in a School Attendance Review Team (S.A.R.T) meeting with the Vice Principal.

• The parent/student will have to sign a contract for their student to maintain good attendance.

• If poor attendance continues the parent/student will be referred to District Office for a School Attendance Review Board (S.A.R.B.) meeting.

• The parent/student will meet with an attendance liaison and other school officials.
